How do we work?

Step 1 – Initial analysis

We create a full backup of your website and run a detailed performance analysis. Then we create a list of steps we need to take to improve your site’s loading speed.

Step 2 – Theme & Plugin Files

Based on our individual analysis, we optimize your website’s scripts. This includes loading all scripts asynchronously that are technically possible, rearranging their sequence and removing unused scripts.

Step 3 – Images & Database

We ensure your images on the homepage are loaded in the ideal format and optimized. We also clean your WordPress database from clutter and orphaned data.

Step 4 – Server Configuration

The server configuration is critical, no matter what hosting you’re using. We know how to tweak the .htaccess file and other settings to achieve performance improvements.

Step 5 – Content Delivery Network

By adding a content delivery network, we can speed up your website for visitors all over the world and add an additional layer of protection against hacker attacks.

Step 6 – Final test

After we finished our optimization process, we run through your website and make sure every function is working as expected. We’ll also ask you to perform a test yourself.

What do you need from me?

Only two things: access to your site and host

We will need an admin login to your WordPress site and to your web hosting account. Without those, we cannot work our magic.

We will provide a secure form you can use to send those logins to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you speed up my site?

Our team works on multiple areas on your website. Usually, our speed optimization process involves working on Javascript and CSS files from your theme and plugins, cleaning up your database, optimizing your server configuration and implementing a Content Delivery Network.

We use custom coding to install our optimization but also leverage highly-effective WordPress plugins.

Do you have a guarantee on performance?

While we cannot guarantee an exact loading time, we guarantee that you’ll be happy with the results.

The sites we work on drastically improve in loading time, get their scores in GTMetrix and PageSpeed up to around 85 points and higher, and experience more conversions (as our clients tell us).

We worked on hundreds of websites since 2012. If you’d like us to give you an estimate on the potential improvements, send us a message before hiring us.

How long does the job take?

We start working on your site within 2 business days after payment and complete most jobs within 3-4 business days after that.

Can you work with any web host?

We take a backup of your website before we touch anything. While installing our optimization mechanisms, we thoroughly test your website for functionality.

While the process goes without hiccups in 95% of all projects, there always is a minimal risk involved. Our way of working minimizes that risk.

We’ll notify you immediately when we’re making changes so that you can test the site for yourself – parallel to our testing processes.

Can I get a refund if I’m not happy?

Your website performance is important to us, just as it is to you. That’s why we offer a money-back guarantee for when we cannot improve your website’s loading time. To compare before and after, we will save GTMetrix reports.

After our process is done, you can apply for a refund within 3 business days.

Since optimizing your website’s speed is a very technical part, so you have to meet a number of requirements:

  1. We confirmed that our optimization process is finished.
  2. You didn’t add any new plugins, theme or code to the website while we were working on it. Adding content is ok as long as it’s not on the pages we are focusing on (we’ll let you know).
  3. You didn’t tell us to stop our optimization process while we were working on your website.
  4. Your website has been up-to-date before we started working, as are your web hosting services (PHP and database).
  5. Your web hosting is not restricting how much we can achieve. Those hosts are for example WP Engine, Kinsta, Flywheel, and others.

‚ÄčThese points are non-negotiable.

Can I talk to you before ordering?

Of course! Simply fill out the form above and tell us what questions you have. Based on your message, we can also schedule Skype calls or Zoom calls to touch base.
